Following on from our spring time observations, our topic the last couple of weeks has been mini beasts!

The books we have been looking at are:

‘What the Ladybird Heard’ by Julia Donaldson

‘The Snail and the Whale’ by Julia Donaldson

‘The Bad Tempered Ladybird’ by Eric Carle.

 

We have been doing a lot of cooking with help from Mrs Iggulden. We have made edible snails, ladybirds on a leaf and some ladybird cakes! We got to eat them at school and they were all absolutely delicious!

 

In early years we are very creative and we love making pictures and models. Our teachers are always proud of how inventive we can be. Here are some of our wonderful mini beast creations!
