Dear Parents and Children,
Please see attached the SATs timetable for the week commencing Monday 9th May 2016. All of the assessments will take place during the mornings of that week.
All children must be in school by 8.45am so that we can begin promptly. However, we would like to invite the children to come into school from 8.30am onwards for breakfast. This will give them plenty of time to get themselves ready for the day, have breakfast, go to the toilet and chat with friends. Hopefully, this will lessen the anxiety that we know some of the children are feeling.
As we are sure you are all aware, the children have been working very hard in preparation for these assessments and each of them truly deserve to do well. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to come in and see us.
Year 6 Statutory Assessments 2016
Monday 9th May – KS2 English reading test, reading booklet and associated answer booklet.
Tuesday 10th May -KS2 English grammar, punctuation and spelling test, Paper 1 (short answer questions) and KS2 English grammar, punctuation and spelling test, Paper 2, spelling.
Wednesday 11th May -KS2 Mathematics, Paper 1, arithmetic test. Key stage 2 Mathematics, Paper 2, reasoning.
Thursday 12th May – KS2 Mathematics, Paper 3, reasoning.
