Y6 Trip to the National Media Museum in Bradford

On Wednesday 17th June Year 6 will be visiting the National Media Museum in Bradford. During the visit we will be watching a show called “Lights, Camera, Action”, viewing an IMAX cinema screening of “Dinosaurs Alive 3D” as well as looking around the various TV, film and animation collections within the museum. More information can be found at http://www.nationalmediamuseum.org.uk

Whilst entry to the museum is free, we do have to pay for the IMAX cinema and the coach. Therefore we are asking for a voluntary contribution of £6 per pupil to cover some of these costs. We will be using our Cake Sale money to fund any remaining costs.

We will be leaving school at 9am and will be back for 3pm. The children will each need a packed lunch. Due to a shortage of storage space, the museum has requested that children bring lunches in carrier bags, with their name on, which can then be thrown away afterwards. There is a gift shop so the children may bring spending money- £3 maximum.

Please complete the attached consent form if you are happy for your child to take part in this visit.
