Dear Parents/ Carers,

Following the completion of SATs, year 6 will now be focussing on our play, “In the Shadow of the Quarks”. The children are also writing short stories as part of our ongoing assessment of their writing.

In order to support your children with these tasks, we have set them the following homework for the next two weeks:

• They must learn their lines for the play by the beginning of next term, Monday 6th of June. All of the children have two scripts with their lines highlighted- one script for home and one for school. We would be very grateful if you could support them in this effort.
• They may also, should they wish to, draw illustrations to match their short stories. These can be completed at home and then brought into school.
