This week we have been looking at the story ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’ by Giles Andreae.

We all took part in a dance workshop where we moved and danced like the animals in the story book.

We were also learning about alliteration from the story book and we came up with these of our own!…

Rhinos rock and rolled

Lions lanced

Lions licked

Lions leap

Chimps chopped

Chimps chat.

In maths we were looking at size, measuring the height of each other on our giraffe height chart and discussing who was ‘taller’ or ‘smaller’.

Some of us painted the jungle animals we recognised and Mr Farrow has entered them into a competition!
